THE most expensive fighter jet in the world has landed in Spain.
The American F-35 is at a military base in Moron before heading to Los Llanos, Albacete, where it will carry out training with the Spanish military.
The jet will carry out the work as part of its Tactical Leadership Programme (TLP) to help improve the operation of the Allied Air Forces. The F-35 is a best-known for its stealth, supersonic speed capabilities, agility, and sensors which make it hard for enemy planes to detect it on radar.
The Allied Air Forces has been carrying out training through the TLP since 2009 in an effort to coordinate the efforts of pilots and air crews in the event of joint, complex missions.
